With over 64 years’ experience, we specialism in supporting people with intellectual disability with a range of trusted, individualized and valueformoney services across MSW and ACT. Cal has over 40 years’ experience in the power industry in a range of executive management roles. Caroline is leading Sunnyfield to be a provider of excellence in service delivery by not only improving internal processes but communicating with Government and key stakeholders to ensure the sustainability of the Disability Sector into the tomorrow below the Odis. She has several experience at a senior management level with nearly 8 years in the Disability Promote Sector and 11 years in the Aged Care sector and brings vast passion, potent commitment, energy and personal and professional dedication to her work. Evan comes to Sunnyfield behind a triumphant and extensive career in the property sector. Steve has held abundant senior management roles across a range of both corporate and not for benefit organizations over the former 15 years including originate employment for people with disability. Family members and carers of our clients are an urgent portion of the overall Sunnyfield team. What sets Sunnyfield apart from many other disability promote organizations is that we are a family based Member organization, with a very powerful community dedicated to supporting our clients to attain their goals and aspirations. We encourage all family members and carers to become Members so your family can contribute to the quality of care for not only your loved one, but for everyone at Sunnyfield. Support each other as a community with a normal purpose to improve the lives of people with disability. It is controlled wholly by the members, operated and managed wholly independently from Sunnyfield staff. Sunnyfield strives to maintain a standard of housing to ensure a cozy and suitable lifestyle is provided for the people Sunnyfield supports in MSW and ACT. Person centered thinking involves listening to people and helping them to think about what they want from their lives now and in the future. People with an intellectual disability are the largest group of people who make use of urge services. Always speak directly to a person with a disability, even if they are with another person. Sunnyfield focuses actively on strengthening family relationships and supporting our clients and their families in all aspects of life throughout MSW and ACT. The first Hostel at Allambie Heights was built and opened for 27 people. The Mature Training center was opened and eventually became a sheltered workshop. Extra land was acquired at Allambie Heights and the workshops were expanded. Another Hostel was opened that would eventually cater for 29 people. Services expand to the Fresh England region. Community based services and accommodation services spread across Sydney and then the Central Coast. Promote for individualized funding and preparation for a fresh era in disability services. A new 20142017 strategies is adopted to guide our approach to the Odis. We promote children and adults across MSW and ACT with intellectual disability at home, in the community and at work. These activities are designed for people with disability of all ages, to promote you to accomplish your goals and aspirations. Clients and families can select the type of promote they would like, with social and recreational activities based on client interests, offering more variety, flexibility and independence in social life. Both of these programs provide a supportive environment for you to learn fresh skills, earnings employment and make friends. Community Skills for Life covers a expansive range of services for individuals. Whether you prefer the independence of living by yourself, or the laughter of making new friends and learning fresh skills in shared accommodation, Sunnyfield has a range of accommodation services to support people with disability to find a deposit to call home, and build independence. Our employees also have the opportunity to participate in the Workplace training program which includes the succeeding topics (as examples): Gain on the job work experience in a variety of industries according to your interests. Each person will develop their own individual plan for the two year program and this is reviewed at least every 6 months to make safe that we are working towards achieving your goals. For the former 3 years she has worked in our Orderly Room where she especially likes the variety of job products that she gets to work with. Radhika is in her first year of the BTW Program and is perpetual enthusiastic about learning new skills and busy with other employees. Our Community Skills for Life programs cover a wide range of services for individuals. Individuals participate in activities in a range of center based and community environments. Day option programs offer a expansive range of activities both in centers and out in the community, including outings, programs to prosper new skills and access to our innovative Community Culture and Arts program. We yield flexible respite where our staff can arrive to your home, encourage you in outings in the community or through recreation programs, when it suits you. We are capable to aid you to self manage your program and flourish your own plan for the activities that you like.
