Matt has competed at National and International levels in kayaking ranging from flat water sprints to mufti day river marathon races. When it comes to any questions or advice on all aspects of kayaking and adventure racing Matt has the knowledge, experience and the inspiration to point you in the right direction, whether it be on training programs for the Coast to Coast, your following ARC adventure or simply buying a kayak or ski for laughter out on the water. Gavin James is an experienced sprint and marathon paddler who also loves to compete in surf ski racing. He brings a huge balance to the team with a combination of excellent paddling skills and knowledge. He also coordinates corporate events and has the patience and competence to control large groups as well as individual tuition on and off the water. Lionel Newton is a keen paddler who gives all disciplines a go. Coming from a swimming background, having played and coached water polo at a State level, Lionel is extending his expertise into ocean paddling. He has been actively involved in sea kayaking (both for labor and pleasure) for the end 14 years. He is also an energetic surf kayaked and, recently, has started developing his skills on ocean skis and in whitewater kayaks. Adrian has paddled extensively along the east coast of Australia including multiday expeditions in Tasmania in the south to The Whitsunday Islands in the north. He has also completed multiday kayaking trips in Greece, Turkey and Italy. Mark is an accredited Stand Up Paddle Instructor with the AI (Academy of Surfing Instructors) and has taught abundant people in private and or group lessons from amateur to the advanced using the knowledge he has gained over the years. Mark also competes regularly in Stand Up Paddle Surfing, flat water and Ocean racing in local, regional and state stand up paddle boarding events and has excelled in many of these placing highly in quality fields. They are guaranteed to have a incredible time!
