Northern Contracting Group undertakes full at grade vehicle park construction with a variety of finished surfaces. This project required demolition and removal of existing dilapidated car park surface, including bitumen area, tangible Serbs and redundant drainage services. Northern Contracting Group (sync) provided fulltime supervision, labor and equipment to manage and undertake all works other than concrete and asphalt. Northern Group’s works packages involved demolition, bulk excavation, importation of compact capable fill (sandstone), construction of reinforced concrete piers, preparation of DGB20 sub base, edge thickenings, jointing, concreting, saw (Goff) cutting, joint sealing and spray on curing. Construction of reinforced tangible retaining wall footing. Once installed Northern Group constructed the new reinforced concrete driveway with integrated barrier Serb for completion of the project. In conjunction 1500m3 of bulk excavation was needed to the eastern property boundary to accommodate the playing surface area and 150m3 of detailed excavation for retaining wall footings and the like. The project was undertaking all courteous works involved with delivery the project. The package included demolition of existing dilapidated parking area, excavation for sub pavement layers, supply store and compact bottom and sub bottom and laying of 50mm AC10 surface.
