The Visible Wellbeing approach is different to customary positive education in the fact that it is not a curriculum that teaches students about well being but rather it is a set of practices that teachers can flexibly bring into their own teaching practice so students directly experience healthy being in the classroom, sports field, school yard etc. By implementing the Visible Wellbeing approach and bringing well being skills into schools, teachers are able receive their own existing teaching practices for each specialized subject and alter them in a way that builds healthy being in their students. In implementing the Visible Wellbeing approach, my team works with schools and goes into the school to train teachers for 13 days on how they can join the science of healthy being with the science of teaching and learning. As Visible Wellbeing is not a curriculum that you teach to students, but instead a training program for the staff themselves, there is the capacity to impact and construct the well being of the staff in the school, as healthy as the students. When I have worked with schools I have found that there is always a group of staff who are really passionate about their job and are motivational towards their students.
