On a midsummer’s day in the attractive Swedish countryside, a young woman is readying herself to face her future husband’s very important family for the beginning time. With a touch of trepidation she follows her boyfriend through the meadow to where his family are picnicking by the lake. Soon after that day I decided I wanted to be a designer and put people in clothes rather than receive them off! She adds. So when the now married Helene and Jonas moved to Australia for a better way of life she knew she had to also find a way to include her design aspirations. It was obvious to Helene that Australians, like the Scandinavians, love the outdoors and with that comes a sense of fun and informality. There was a big gap in the fashion market here when we started for healthy priced underwear and clothing of the quality and variety Europeans are impaired to, explains Helene. Initially the company started with a couple of cute but sexy 'everyday' bra and indie designs that were sold to boutique lingerie retailers but quickly the demand grew for more designs to where it is today with over 25 collections.
